About
Luke Houghton
Hi and welcome to my website! This is my space on the web for talking about various ideas that I find interesting. These topics include things like: complex problem solving, strategic thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, mobile technology, education, personal development and leadership. So who am I? I work at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia as a Lecturer in the Business School. I have also consulted for government and non-government organisations in a variety of areas. I finished a Ph.D in complex problem solving last year and have previous experience as an enterprenuer in both education and software industries. Enough about me… what’s this blog about.
This blog is a place for me to share my views and develop conversations about the many different things that interest me. The main reason I started this blog a year ago was to see if people would be interested in what I had to say… so far… so good. It’s really an excuse to think outloud and develop my ideas and hopefully find people who want to put them to work. Ideas should work… but I digress. This is also a place for gratitious self-promotion… as the saying goes, “if you don’t toot your own horn… nobody will.” Amen to that.
It’s my belief that if you subscribe you will learn something from me because I know a lot. So hang around it will be worth your while.
