Asia’s QNET one of the biggest firms dealing in direct sales and also one of the best in the e-commerce has gone philanthropic. It recently channeled out a donation of around Rs. 75 Lakhs to help the Chennai flood victims. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund announced that QNET would be giving this to help the people affected by the floods. QNET India’s CSR initiative was used to make these donations to the victims. The QNET donation was tagged WE CARE and was given over in the presence of Mr. T Srinivas Yadav, Minister for Commercial Taxes and Cinematography for the State of Telangana. This took place at the at a ceremonious awards function that was named Be1forChennai at IIFA Utsavam, which brought together all philanthropists from all genres of life who felt the need to support the Chennai victims.
The IIFA Utsavam awards ceremony are the first of its kind sponsored by the IFFA stable. These awards are held in honor of the South Indian Film talent which brings together both young and veteran filmmakers and actors with other shareholders in the industry. These awards were first held in Hyderabad. This year the ceremony had been dedicated to giving relief support to the Chennai flood victims. The course received a big support from the South Indian film industry who gave out generously and wholeheartedly. QNET participated in this event as a partnering associate sponsor. QNET’s philosophy is termed “Raise Yourself To Help Mankind,” and during this event, the firm came out strongly to portray that they stand by their philosophy.
Under the QNET – WE CARE which is a CSR initiative of QNET in India, the firm moves out to support the less privileged members of the society. It supports various aspects that constitute to a better society such as healthcare and disaster management. In healthcare, they diversify their support so that it can reach individuals who need it most such as victims of natural disasters. It also partners with other organizations such as the Lions Dist. 317 F Service Foundation and they recently distributed basic household relief kits to over 200 families at Meenambakkam, Chennai, who were also affected by the floods. This relief kits contained sheets, mats, cooking pots, among other basic items. For a long time know this organization has also been supporting the physically challenged through sports and such like initiatives. QNET services along the line of direct sales in Asia include a variety of life enhancing products. These products are sold through a proprietary e-commerce platform that serves customers and distributors across the globe.
